And … How will they do it?

Every box contains a detailed instruction manual that is more than 60 pages long.

- The experiments start with an explanation of the concept with video instruction.
- The students will be shown the way that a famous inventor thinks.
- Every experiment comes with a soundtrack in order to make the experiment more real: Frank Sinatra, Bach, John Williams, Lady Gaga....
- With the music playing, the students will carry out the experiment with the materials contained in the box.
- Once an experiment is finished, you can see the closing video of each concept with the CEO and founder of the MIBA, Pep Torres.

- Bonus track: We have added the story of a prominent figure – who does not have any reason to be an inventor – who exemplifies the concept. We recommend that you read this in class after all activities are done.

Learn a simple Jiu Jitsu technique, where the size of one’s adversary is taken in consideration, while Ambient the subtle electronic music of Brian Eno is playing in the background. This is something you will find in this box.

‘The Inventor’s Box’ in its Primary School Edition contributes to the development of the following general goals:

- Be aware of the value of individual and group work and develop proper habits concerning effort and hard work in your studies, as well as attitudes of confidence, personal initiative, self-discipline, critical thinking, responsibility, curiosity, interest and creativity.

- Get to know, value and appreciate your natural, social and cultural environment, thus reinforcing the capacity to extrapolate this knowledge to the outside world.

- Understand, aside from the observation of simple phenomena, the main mechanisms that govern this environment so as to be able to make responsible commitments in order to maintain or introduce elements meant to improve.

- Apply, in various contexts, distinct acquired knowledge and your own resources in order to solve problems, personal situations and daily necessities in a creative way.

All activities provide answers in the fields of: natural, social and cultural knowledge, languages, personal development education, civil society and artistic education.

In line with the integral spirit of the education system, the elements in the box and the methodologies of the proposed experiments are directly related to the development of basic proficiencies.
